My name is Rachel Perry Schrank, founder of Earth, Sky and I. I facilitate the creative process, through one-on-one creativity coaching sessions, astrology consultations, and collaborative group experiences. I am a student practitioner of Eurythmy, a meditative art of movement developed by Rudolf Steiner which uses joyful, healthy movement to deepen our experience of language arts, theater, music and geometry. I have lived my life as a creative, working in multiple arts disciplines. I am a lifelong musician and performing artist, a documentarian with a master’s degree in video production, and a veteran creative business owner (I co-owned and operated a wedding photography and videography business in the Riviera Maya, Mexico for 12 successful years).

Working one-to-one, I can help you overcome blocks, get more organized, and define and achieve your creative purpose. As both a creative dilettante and a Harvard graduate (BA in English, 1997) I can help clarify storytelling and meaning questions across disciplines (photography, videography, filmmaking, writing, theater).   As a creative business owner (2006-present) and one of the first Apple creatives (2005-2007), I can address issues around brand aesthetics and messaging, as well as some of the technological nuts and bolts of operating a creative business.  

Facilitating group creative work is my passion, be it as a facilitator of Artist’s Way circles, collaborative artistic projects, teaching eurythmy to school children, or helping adults connect with their inner child through movement, music and improvisation.  

Both one-to-one and in groups, I enjoy helping artists in many disciplines feel more calm, centered, and connected with their work.

I have been studying astrology for more than 25 years. Over years of observation of my own and others’ charts, I have deepened my understanding of the energetic opportunities presented in the birth chart as well as how those opportunities unfold over time, in the presence of significant others in our lives, and in varying locations on the earth sphere. In our vast multidimensional universe, our charts are a snapshot of a moment in time, an anchor point in the multilayered web which is woven by the planets between the stars and the very core of our beings, where our own free will resides. Astrology can also guide us like a compass along our soul’s journey from lifetime to lifetime, and can help clarify questions as big as “what is my purpose in life?” and as mundane as “when would be a good time to buy a new washing machine?” As a NCGR certified astrologer, I am honored to serve clients around the world via Zoom, as well as in person in my current hometown of Playa del Carmen, Mexico. I am a student practitioner and student teacher of Eurythmy, a meditative, movement-based art form developed by Rudolf Steiner, the founder of Waldorf education. Eurythmy deepens students’ awareness of the elements of music, language, and geometry, while providing healthy and fun movement activity. Eurythmy builds spatial awareness skills and brings people together in a peaceful, joyful, and collaborative artistic environment. Eurythmy is accessible to every body, and builds coordination, sharpens thinking skills, heightens social awareness, and provides a balance to sedentary learning environments. Plus, eurythmy is lots of fun!

I have recently finished my third year of training with Auriel Eurythmy, based in Mexico City. I am a founding member of Eurythmy Mundo Maya, a group which brings eurythmy to the Riviera Maya and Yucatan peninsula in southeastern Mexico.
