I am a student practitioner and student teacher of Eurythmy, a meditative, movement-based art form developed by Rudolf Steiner, the founder of Waldorf education. Eurythmy deepens students’ awareness of the elements of music, language, and geometry, while providing healthy and fun movement activity. Eurythmy builds spatial awareness skills and brings people together in a peaceful, joyful, and collaborative artistic environment. Eurythmy is accessible to every body, and builds coordination, sharpens thinking skills, heightens social awareness, and provides a balance to sedentary learning environments. Plus, eurythmy is lots of fun!
I have recently finished my third year of training with Auriel Eurythmy, based in Mexico City. I am a founding member of Eurythmy Mundo Maya, a group which brings eurythmy to the Riviera Maya and Yucatan peninsula in southeastern Mexico.
